Other wildlife Surveys, Mitigation and Development Licensing
MAB Environment & Ecology Ltd are experienced in newt surveys, reptile surveys, badger surveys, barn owl surveys, Phase 1 and NVC vegetation surveys.
We design and implement a full range of survey procedures including licensing and mitigation for protected species. Our projects range from large development sites to domestic environments.
Environmental Statements
As part of the Environmental Impact Assessment regulations procedures, we carry out the surveying and report writing required for Environmental Statements.
Environmental Stewardship and Farm Environment Plans
Our expertise in the Countryside Stewardship Scheme spans nearly ten years. The new Environmental Stewardship Schemes include the Entry Level Scheme and the Higher Level Scheme. Our work with the schemes encompasses applications, surveys, management plans, amendments and agreement management, monitoring and evaluation.
The 'Higher Level Scheme', or HLS, is complex, so a payment is available to applicants in order for them to employ consultants to do much of the work. We produce the Farm Environment Plan (or FEP) which is required for all applications. We also create Management Plans for capital works such as bracken control.
Habitat Creation and Restoration
Often under the stewardship grant schemes, we produce management plans for pond-creation, pond-renovation, re-creation of species-rich habitats such as wildflower meadows, bracken and other weed control, and other environmental schemes.
Woodland Grant Scheme Applications
MAB Environment & Ecology Ltd have considerable experience of Woodland Grant Scheme applications, including all biodiversity survey requirements.
Nature Reserves
Management plans for nature reserves using Conservation Management System (CMS 2000) software.
