Higher Level Scheme - FEPs

Farm Environment Plans are necessary to join the new version of the Countryside Stewardship Scheme, the Higher Level Scheme (HLS). Due to our long experience in this field, we have been chosen by several clients, including the North York Moors National Park, to do FEPS on their behalf.
We have found it possible to do the FEP with no extra cost to the client above the grant allocation from DEFRA. However, we have found that subsequent assistance with the HLS application has to be charged for separately, and there is no grant to help with this.
First indications from DEFRA are that our FEPs and HLS applications are of the highest quality, and likely to attain the same exceptionally high acceptance rate that we had with the old CSS scheme.
