Environmental Stewardship Launched

Today the new agri-environment schemes were launched. In order to be ready to handle the complexity of the new schemes, we have received special training from DEFRA's Rural Development Service. We are therefore ready to advise on both the Entry Level Scheme (ELS) and the Higher Level Scheme (HLS). We have taken on a sub-contract with ADAS to provide training for farmers on both schemes at a variety of events around the North East - see DEFRA's web site for more details as they become available.
