The Habitats Regulations 2010
The government has produced a new version of the Habitats Regulations, which now incorporates all of the amendments under one copy. It is now referred to as the The Conservation of Habitats and Species Regulations 2010. The text of the regulations can be found at Link to the new Habitats Regulations 2010. The relevant section to our work with bats is section 41, and the wording is much clearer regarding disturbance, although there is still no clearer idea of what constitutes a 'resting place' of a bat, a thing that is fully protected by law.01.09.2010. 22:51
