MAB Environment & Ecology Ltd specialises in bat and other European Protected Species surveys (badgers, barn owls, great-crested newts, otters, water voles). We also support all elements of Environmental Stewardship (Farm Environment Plans, Higher and Entry Level Scheme applications). Other services include Impact Assessments and Environmental Statements for EIA, botanical vegetation surveying (NVC as well as Phase 1), other ecological surveys, and project management. Since 2000, MAB has completed over four hundred protected species surveys and obtained twenty licences for the translocation or disturbance of protected species.
MAB is an affordable independent consultancy, based in Yorkshire, registered with the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management and the Society for the Environment. We have been trading since 2000.
